This innovative, instantly balancing pH solution promotes skin health by gently restoring its natural protective barrier, also known as the acid mantle.

HERO is your step 0: HERO is a clear, serum-like liquid which is applied as the first step in your skin care ritual and as needed throughout the day.

Daily use of HERO will effectively help prevent moisture loss, skin sensitivity, dryness and damage from environmental factors, while strengthening the skin’s natural ability to renew and regenerate. HERO helps provide the best conditions for the skin’s healing process on the body, face and/or scalp.

HERO’s pH balancing properties optimise the skin’s natural immune system, which is key to the health, general condition and appearance of our skin.

Why is the skin's pH important?

Our skin has a natural pH of around 5, and when this is disrupted on a daily basis by things as simple as cleansing the skin, long showers, visits to the swimming pool, frequent hand washing, doing the dishes, use of detergents, etc., the skin’s protective acid mantle is disrupted and pushed temporarily out of sync.

It can take hours until the protective barrier – and thus the skin’s pH – is stabilised and restored, and in the meantime, the skin is left vulnerable and susceptible to infection, irritation and drying out – and this is the main reason for many skin issues.

You can also apply HERO pH solution 02 to the scalp in towel-dried hair, after washing. HERO balances the pH of the scalp, its natural protective barrier and sebum production. HERO helps relieve dryness, irritation, oily scalp or other periodic problems that may occur in this area.

Several scientific studies show the importance of a stabilised pH value to wound healing as well as skin disorders and general dermatological skin diseases such as seborrheic dermatitis, psoriasis, rosacea, eczema and acne. But HERO is for all skin types – even normal skin, which also deserves the best possible conditions.

Directions:

Apply daily to the face, neck and chest, hands, scalp and/or body – the areas you wish to protect and balance.
Apply on dry skin after contact with water.
Do not rinse off. HERO pH solution 02 is a leave-on product.
Apply immediately after showering, facial cleansing, hand washing or other contact with soap, hand sanitizer or cleaning products to instantly stabilize the pH of your skin.
Use with your preferred Karmameju skincare products for the face or body.
HERO pH solution 02 can also be used on dermatologically-challenged areas of the skin to ensure the best conditions for the skin’s healing process.
Ideal after swimming, hand washing, doing the dishes, cleaning, etc.
